I've paid 27 bucks: general admission + theaters incl. General admission without theater is 20$ But: it's for AMNH. The Hayden Planetary is included and free of charge.

General Admission to walk around the planetarium and the whole museum is pay as you wish. (Donation). For adults to enter any of the current 3 special exhibits or Space shows its $28 if you choose one of them. Or $33 if you choose 2 or more.

You cannot buy only planetarium admission, but you can go there with a general admission ticket. Those tickets are "pay as you wish." So you do not have to buy an all access pass. If you want to see the film in the planetarium there is a set fee for that.

$22 for the Planetarium alone, plus whatever you choose as a donation for the Museum (it's cost is "pay as you wish") There is a discount if you are a AMNH member, that price is $13.50 for adults and $8.00 for children.

No minimum age. We have an 8 and 6yo and they loved it way more than J expected them to. There were infants and toddlers in the room with no issues, it seems they likely enjoyed the show as well.

Without the planatarium show it costs $18.00 for senior citizens. With the space show (or any one of the shows) it is $22.50

They want you to have an appointment but you can get them at the door.

If your are NY/NJ/CT resident donation amount is entirely up to you. Beware though, Planetarium is closed atm (Covid)

Unfortunately the space show isnt playing at this time (Worlds beyond Earth). The museum is waiting on approval from the state to open theaters again. But the museum IS OPEN Wednesday-Sunday at the time of this post.

I think so with taking precaution procedures like keeping a safe distance and wearing a mask and so on.

Yeah, right across the street, in the park, it's free, and you can sit any where you like. They recommend you bring a blanket to lie down on, and just look up into the night sky. You can bring food and drinks if you like, just clean up when you are done.

Find a local supporter; schl, clubs, work, etc, and use their membership for free admission.

It's part of museum admission, and the price depends on how many special exhibitions you select, or if you're an adult/child/student. It's all very easy to find on their website - you can buy your ticket in advance.

The Planetarium is separate from the suggested donation for the main museum. It is fixed and usually stays about the same, but double check for the show you choose to see close to your visit.

There is a space travel type show narrated by Neil DeGrasse Tyson inside a hemispheric dome. There are interactive displays of nature and space. A natural exhibit on animals of the globe and their climates.
