Hey any update on how much time it took for getting passport back. I am planning to send the same via USPS priority express

I got a tourist visa in 2017 and overall I paid $107 that covers the fees for the visa application and for processing at the visa application center.

The only documents you need is the passport request letter (per applicant) and the passport(s). The return is charged if you want your passport sent to you. No charge to collect in person. There os a processing fee though, of $20 per passport. Also, you can use their two way courier service. You don't have to go in person.

Go to USPS and get a momey order.

Officially, it takes at least 15 calendar days. That said, there are numerous advisories now that they are experiencing heavy volumes of applications and expect the process to take much longer than that.

Their service is garbage across the board so unfortunately there is little you can do other than register a complaint with them. If it is an issue with the visa itself you can try contacting the Indian consulate.

Did you receive an email with a tracking number? If yes, use that to check the status and you will know if it has been sent to the consulate.

Idk if they accept walking! You can call them and ask if you want, they always answer the phone.

I did it through their site for Canada too. It’s on their website. Go the site visa.vfsglobal.con/usa/en/can Click apply for a visa Then click SERVICE CHARGES It’s on that page, read that. It should be in the BY MAIL section of the page (right above the service charges table)

If you followed the directions from their website and made sure everything’s correct and labeled appropriately- 1 month is more than enough time to get it. I applied on March 16th and got my passport back with the stamp on the 29th.

Now they take ~10 business days to begin processing your passport. Lack of transparency means what you can do is wait.

You complete the application on the uk gov website, and then they give you the option of where you would like to have your biometrics done. From there you select vfs. You will be directed to the website to create an account and make an appointment. Atleast that is how it worked for me. I am sure if you log onto vfs choose your usa and then new york as your location then you can book from there too

You can mail it. You'll need to send your passport with the application. Obviously the drafts before you can have them check (paid service), but the actual visa application will be done by mail.

Yes, definitely. Go on the website, go to schedule an appointment, go "online" click on the link that says "schedule appointment". Then create a "new user" then pick the day, schedule the appointment. You'll get a link to your email with a letter to bring to the vac... All the best

You need only pay an extra fee (something about 20 USD) and that's it. Usually they collect passports for 8-16 business days, but if you need it urgently you can fill out an urgent form request and get it earlier. I got my passport back after only 3 days.

You need to apply for ETA or Electronic Travel Authorization for your wife in CiC.gov.

You can fill out an urgent request form, and you can get your passport very quickly. But you need to fill this form out when you submit your passport. I received mine in 3 days, as well.

Well you have to go 145 w 45 st, NY NY 4th floor and get the application guide from there they gonna tell you how to apply on line and get and appointment for the interview. The paper work you suppose to bring and the application fees. Also you can ask your relatives to send you the invitation letter, proof of there citizenship in Canada, bank statements,.... I hope I tried to guide you little bit, the rest they're gonna tell you what to do @ the vac.

If you are not US citizen or permanent resident. Go to cic.gov check if your nationality need a visa or have to apply for ETA or no need of visa. I know for sure that if you are a green card holder you need an ETA to enter Canada.

It's an identification number that you are given at the time of application. You will receive yours when you submit your application

The previous visa office has been shut down. They stopped accepting Visa applications starting Nov 1. They returned all applications, passports/visas, etc. by end of Nov. Starting Dec, I think VFS Global is processing canada visa.

You need to contact the IRCC office in New York not the New York VAC, as they are no longer operational. Their website will give you more information.

The Canadian VAC in New York is no longer operational for new applications at of November 2nd. They will contact all individuals who submitted their documents before this date, WHEN the documents are ready. You should have them before the 29th of November, which is the last day to pick up all documents. Visit their website for more information

If you sent it after the 1st of November, they no longer accept applications or passports. Call them to ask for refund or other options. Number is (646) 741-0130.

Definitely not, I was traveling to canada with my green card for years, make sure you take your passport with you though.

You pay the biometrics fee together with the application fee, when you're about to submit. It's all processed together

No you don't, you need just your green card , ETA for entering Canada if flying by air of which you can apply online , cost just 7 dollars and your passport if traveling by air. For land just green card. Hope this helped out

No you have option to mail it to Canadian embassy who will stamp and mail it back to a preferred address or you can go and drop and pick it up from the visa processing center
