I just visited there last week, I'm not an owner, but the sign said 55 and older.
As long as the husband or wife is 55, your able to purchase. The HOA board would need to approve if one of the buyers was 53 or 54. I would expect 54 would pass but I am not suggesting that it would be a guaranteed approval.
