My home. The lot rent is high but the community is very nicely organized and clean. Grass is cut by professionals,Heated swimming pool during the winter cool for summer whirlpool heated all year long. Top notch exercise room with the latest exercise machines. Events frequently and of course shuffle board.

Worst communication. Constantly being harrassed over ridiculous rules. Pool is either broken or closed. They pick and choose who has to follow the rules and who doesn't. Too many dogs over the "weight restriction". Lawn service is terrible. They raised lot rent and rumor has it next year they will raise it again.

It is a very nice community, snd the park is well kept. I agree with Catherine. To the best of my knowledge, as long as there is someone 55 or older you should be okay. But you best check because changes happen. They are to notify residents 90 days before changes, I believe
Lot fees go up July 1st, every year and there has been a on e a year charge due July 1st. The lot fees increase by $15. I sold last year before July. My fees were $615. After July this year, you are probably looking at $645, plus water and electricity. Cable, internet, phone, extra. The people are great but management changes every year or two. Owners are not very cooperative and don't ask for input. They just do what they want.
The park is clean, but the for what it is, you can find a much better place for far less in lot rent that will include things like WiFi and basic cable. As with any tight living, some people are wonderful and others are not so nice. I will say this, do not buy anything used without a full inspection from a contractor of your choice.
