Recently someone moved in below us who chain smoke and my unit is on par with a ash tray. I have a 9year old and I am concerned that the smoking is going to and will cause a health issue. My apartments do no have a no smoking clause. What can I do?

Last we knew, Texas courts were not holding landlords responsible for second-hand smoke. You may have remedies based on other issues, however. Please call us at 214-823-2733.

All I can think of is move or keep a window open. Cigarettes are no good.
