I applied to to be a casa I had a interview and sent all they asked even donated the 20 dollars they ask, I am a navy veteran, with 5 years of med school and almost 2 years of criminal justice, I am also bilingual, , I though my willing to help no asking for a salary and my honesty was enough, I found d out that they don't want honesty and they lie and declined ur help just cause , u might not get to their discriminatory standards, skin color, accent or what ever their excuse is, very disappointed of their reaction tours me and some others , as a usa vateran and no a dumb person I do hope some one who can do a change read this and fix this issues going on in casa all over tx, there r many who r willing to help but casa declined them so stop the lie that they need help if they r just picking and choosing only who their descrominatory standards want

Great people and very helpful. For my class I found CASA the best option for me to do my paper on. It was great.

Hi. I recall this question being asked during my orientation and the answer was that extra training is necessary because each branch operates as its own entity and guidelines vary by state/ county. Please do call to confirm, though. We really need you, so thanks in advance for being a Dallas CASA!
Hi Diober, Dallas CASA is an agency who trains and supervises community volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected and are living in foster care. I'm sorry we don't have the help you are looking for. Best of luck to you -
No you are not paid its a volunteer position any and everything you do comes out of your pocket
