I have a friend & her family who needs help with a place to stay she just had a newborn can you steer me in the right direction as far as getting her shelter & helping her with getting housing

Its a womans shelter. On north broard street called salvation army they definitely take woman and children in its. About 6 or 7 blocks up from the convention center. The ymca it across the street from the salvation army

There's there's a Salvation Army Post at the corner of 32nd and Reed in Grays Ferry and that would be a great start they can definitely help you out pretty much well right away! You may be able to check out the credenza house I know there's one on Washington Avenue and another one that's on Vine right in Center City.
