Hello Hector, We are sorry to hear that your meal from Sunday Breakfast was less than satisfactory. We aim to serve nourishing meals each day, using fresh produce when possible. We are constantly working to improve all aspects of the Mission and we value your feedback.
You can find a full list of volunteer opportunities by visiting sundaybreakfast.volunteerhub.com or sundaybreakfast.org/get-involved
Yes, he is welcome to come. Meals are served at 7am, 12(noon), and 6:30pm. He can come in at 5pm to connect with someone about shelter too.
They have services for families but they only house men
You may be able to complete your required hours there, if not, you can ask for a list of acceptable locations from the court room. Good luck!
All Sunday breakfast thrift stores are closed... Any food or clothing donations can be brought to Sunday breakfast rescue mission 302N 13th street Philadelphia pa 19107. Thank you for all your help and generosity God bless you all
Yes i believe that would be a nice thing to do.
If there are no more opportunities at Sunday Breakfast, you can contact Salvation Army and other shelters. You can also volunteer for groups that help bring meals to the homeless.
Well Michael, there's always a need for volunteers during the lunch and dinner meals that are served. Call and make yourself know to the staff and let them know your intentions.
Hello Patricia, we do have a women with children home so if you have a child or are pregnant then please reach out to them. Unfortunately we do not have a single women's shelter at this time but please look into Apple Tree Family Center as they may be able to help.
Hello Ms. Robinson. Sunday Breakfast, has a Daily curfew of 8:00pm not a minute later. Unless you work out with the assigned Chaplain, proff of legal work. There's a 30day Bed assigned to each man. All clothing items are limited to very small amounts of space available. And he will be responsible for his property. Be mindful that this is not a city run shelter, it is a Christian Based Shelter. And if he so chose to become a permanent member of the community, there are other opportunities. I hope that this information is helpful. God Bless.
Yes, we do have beds available if you would like to stay in our Emergency Shelter.
It is run and enforced mainly by others that are there and also homeless. The beds are available after dinner. 7pmish. They are 30rd day beds miss a day and you lose it for 30 Rd days. I am told. Also I am not sure of what is the latest but 8 sounds about right
U can come and go at a certain time
I heard the staff say they do but u can go around and find out that was over the weekend he said that
The stay is 30 days and they do not have lockers
Contact 211. by phone. and let them know, then contact Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission staff at shelter. The staff is great to work. with and very helpful
No it's a men's only shelter. Go to 804 N Broad Street tomorrow morning and get placed from there.
Yes, Men's would be great!!
The latest for them to do is intake is 8PM. After 8PM they don't do anymore. You just show up, if you are able to climb three flight of stairs and climb to a top bunk. If you have an bag, it has to be able to fit in a cubby. So just come before 8PM, talk to staff and sign up for a bed

Possibly yes Sunday breakfast accept donations

How its named beginning? Where and when its starts, inwhich reasons?
You can leave out anytime you want to ,but must be back before 8 pm

The emergency shelter for men is a 30 day shelter, and serves people 18 years of age or older. No matter your age you can come to the Mission for meals and other services. Breakfast is at 7am, Lunch is at noon (doors open at 11am), and Dinner is at 6:30pm (doors open at 5pm).
If you're there before evening, you can get a bed. Before 7pm, but get there at 5:30 for dinner/check in for bed early. You're asking local guides the question, SBRM has a website and a contact number for the chaplain if you need specific info from them. https://sundaybreakfast.org/
7pm evening chapel and dinner start at 5:30 pm
I am not a member of sunday breakfast. God Bless I pray you get your answer. It would be a blessing to have your team to serve , you may want to call them .
Bed tickets are distributed at 7pm. We prefer if you have identification, but you can get an "emergency shelter" bed for 30 days at 7pm.
Email them.
I think they open at 6:30pm and they do serve dinner as well as provide beds.
One big dormitory
Yes, Sunday Breakfast greatly appreciates clothing donations. The policy of the organization is to take all donated items, sort them, and then store them in the Mission's clothing closet. They are distributed from there. Staff are not allowed to take items for personal use.
Its a mens shelter only though.
Hey Charles, anyone is welcome to stay at SBRM. They offer three meals each day and have an emergency shelter. If you go over there, one of the chaplains should be able to assist you!
8:00 am
Yes Sunday's B. Serves Breakfast Lunch And Dinner...for lunch you need to be there by 11:30 am.
Lunch is served at 12:00 PM and dinner is served at 6:30. You need to be in the building before the time of service. No need to come an hour earlier but 10-15 minutes is ideal.
Hello Roger, Please reach out to the chaplains and they may be able to pass a message along for you. You can reach them at (215) 922-6400 ext. 1012.
Hello Andrew, all you have to do is come in and speak to a chaplain to reserve a bed. Dinner is at 6:30 then bed check in is at 7:00. Arrive early to ensure you have time to talk to someone one-on-one.
Praise God, Zachary, good afternoon. I would advise you to place some priority in your life right now, and the TV has no place right now. Your Recovery from homelessness is, or should be. A TV, has no place in a Shelter. Yes you can address your homeless issues if you are serious. You are Welcome here. Come let Sunday Breakfast help you get your life back. God Bless.
We will take people without ID on a temporary basis if they are working to obtain ID. Everyone deserves a place to stay!
Hey Andrew, You can show up to the 302 N. 13th Street location, enter through the Pearl Street entrance, and talk with the chaplains. I would recommend getting there for dinner as well, which begins at 6:30.
Hello Chris, there is a long term component of Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission called the Overcomers Program. The program focuses on true life change through education, Bible classes, addiction recovery groups, and job training. Please come in and ask to speak to a chaplain to get more information!
Praise God. GM. Michelle, unfortunately Sunday Breakfast is a Mens only Shelter. However You can ask them to Contact The City Out Reach Program. God Bless.
Praise God, Kevin as long as you are able to function without assistance you should have no problems at Sunday Breakfast. God Bless.
Hello Derrick, you are welcome to come to Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission if you need a place to stay. Bed check in is at seven so be sure to arrive a little earlier than that. Please ask for a chaplain when you arrive and they will help you with anything you might need.
Your nephew is welcome to come to Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission if he need a place to stay. Bed check in is at seven so he will need to arrive a little earlier than that. Have him ask for a chaplain when he arrives and they will connect him with anything he might need. We also provide a long term addiction recovery program if he is serious about living a a transformed life. Tell him to ask about the Overcomer Program if that sounds like something he might be interested in.
Hello Darcie, we cannot give out client information and therefore cannot confirm or deny that anyone by that name is a guest at the Mission. But if he is here, then we will pass the message along.
If he goes down to the shelter and talks with any of the chaplains, they can give him more information on the Overcomer's program. Regarding the health issues, SBRM is happy to assist so long as he is able to take care of himself (they do not have medical staff onsite to assist in the case of him being unable to take care of himself). Regarding mornings, everyone has to be up for breakfast at 7:00am. No one is required to leave after breakfast, as they can stay in the day room / cafeteria area during the day, however they will not be permitted to return to the beds until 7:00pm.
SBRM will require an ID in order to stay with them. If you go to their building during lunchtime (served at noon) and chat with a chaplain, they should be able to assist you in obtaining one. If that doesn't work, I believe Saint John's Hospice on Race Street allows people to stay without an ID. Not 100% certain but you could always check there. My Brother's Place could be a good alternative as well.
Call Red Shield at Broad and Fairmount Salvation Army it takes women in with children
Haydee, unfortunately we do not have a home for couples at this time. I am sorry that we could not be more help. You and your boyfriend are welcome at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission for meals if that is something you are in need of. Best of luck!
Yes, Donte SBRM does allow a 30 day plan for a bed. Being that you have employment they may also give you a lead to somewhere for Transitional Housing.
Praise God. MS. Hill, as a volunteer of the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. If your son is a resident of the mission. You would need to contact one of the Chaplin's of the mission, by phone or email or fax. Otherwise there's no way of surty that He remained there. People come and go for whatever reason. I hope this helps you.
I saw mixed answers in here. Unfortunately, the answer is yes you will need ID in order to stay there. However, if you come during the day, the chaplains should be able to assist you in obtaining one. I would recommend joining them for lunch at noon, and talking with the chaplains afterwards.
From my experience, Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission's sole purpose is to provide temporary shelter for homeless men. Any other available resources depends on the individual and there Willingness to do the necessary footwork to rise up from out of there present situation. God only helps those who are seeking help and are willing to go through any lengths to better themselves. Close mouth won't get Fed.
Praise God. Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. Is a independent Christian organization run by a Christian staff World wide membership. Everyone Welcome.
Call and ask for Dick McMillin. He will direct you as to the policy. Thank you for your compassion
SBRM is always accepting donations! Socks and gloves are great. The biggest need is usually new or gently used clothing of sizes XXXL or larger (underwear and t-shirts especially). Coats and hats during this cold weather are important too! Anything they receive in excess of the current need goes to the thrift stores, and all income generated at the thrift stores are used to fund the mission, so no matter what or when you donate, it is being put to good use!
Its a womans shelter. On north broard street called salvation army they definitely take woman and children in its. About 6 or 7 blocks up from the convention center. The ymca it across the street from the salvation army
