Faruq Washington
This is a very great place to eat as well it’s a great place to help out the homeless and for your basic needs for those who are in need thank God for this organization of us
Norman Bonk
Generous, loving, Godly staff who do a remarkable job everyday feeding and housing the emotionally wounded, those alone in the world, the poor, and the ill and mentally ill, and who provide a way up and out of despair for many, many men. A place of miracles. Prayers.

They need help, ask for it?

To answer that qustion. They leavd something others. Get high and take off clothes.
I would call St. John
Hi Danielle. St. John's usually except donation and then passes it out themselves usually the next day because they already have made out that days menu but they have let some people hand out lunches in the past. If you really want to reach the homeless go to the Ben Franklin Parkway and 18th-20th (Logan Circle) and walk around and pass out the lunches to the homeless. "Do Not" bring a table and set it up unless you have a premit to do it or the city will give you a $600 fine. (Almost forgot about that)There's 4 small parks and the Swan Fountain inside Logan Square and a lot of Homeless people. Friday and Wednesday are the best days to go because they have nobody feeding them on those days. TYSM Danielle from all the Homeless and God Bless You for helping the unfortunately. They need all the help they can get. Because the city really does nothing for them. I Know because my brother is homeless and I visit him and his friend all the time and I'm talking to him now.
Okay then that sounds great they always need the help what you would do is you would go to the black door at the top of the five steps at 1221 Race Street ring the buzzer don't buzz you in once inside your make a quick left will be they will buzz you in and at that point you will tell them why you're there that you'd like to volunteer and they will give you the information on volunteering when to be there had to be dressed and all of the above and you'll be set to go it is a great place for Humanity I'm glad that I'm answering this question for you because I good luck to your and all your future endeavors I hope to see you there it's a great place and it's really really helpful looks good on a resume so it was I tell you
I have donated food, clothing and shoes for the men in the past through a volunteer who has recently passed away. How is the best way to get these items to you?
For a meal we have about 7-8 volunteer spots it depends on how much we have to pass out.
No. Only Monday-Friday 12pm-1pm. You can go to, Sunday Breakfast on weekends.
No but you can get a bed at "Sunday Breakfast" about 2 blocks away without ID also they serve 3 meals a day. St. Johns is a lot harder to get a bed because it doesnt have many beds and its getting longer to get funding from the government for housing for those who are already there unfortunately. Good Luck on what you decide to do.
I have men's clothing, shirts pants socks, underwear - t shirts/shorts, These are all in very good condition albiert not brand new in wrappers. Will you accept clean clothes or do they have to be brand new. Men.s pants are size 42/44, length 28/29. Please get back to me today as I will donate them to Viet Nam Vets tomorrow.
Yes, there are plenty of out of state guys. No ID is needed. Just make sure you're there before 10 pm. That's when the doors for overnight shelter open up. You'll need something to lay on, as everyone sleeps on the floor. Good Luck, and God Bless.
You need to go in through intake on 806 n broad street or go to cherry street I think it's 1013 it's in the area down past the airplane sculpture. I believe you can request to go to Saint Johns but I'm not 100% sure. Hope this helped you out some.
Yes you can but you have to do it at 10pm
Yes
I would sugged th to call the charity to whom you want to Service.
She can go to 1430 Cherry street. That's the women's shelter.
No that saint johns doesn't work like that. It takes time to get in there. He has to go to Sunday breakfast
No, they don't have public meals on the weekend
Same advice bro. 802 n. Broad st. To get placed somewhere that's where you gotta go. You cannot just get into saint johns fast. It takes time
Yes you can
Try 802 North Broad
No they won't but project home will and help you with training to help in any matters you might have . best wishes.
Project home is a good place for him to start and get the extra help gim and yourself don't look at it as a negative look at as a step in the right direction with help in the right direction and help to move forward in life ok
Not at all . Because it is not a good idea for couple to stay together in a shelter the couple can get diverted from main goal and get sweep up in the system . Good luck and and set some goals and stay focus on them .
No men only. Reach out to the shelter, they do have a relationship with a battered and abused women and children's shelter
Project unemployment is a great place to start and career link and for i,d they can direct you from there project unemployment is located at 121 n broad street 11 floor and find the nearest career link near you. Best wishes get well.
