A good rule of thumb is to bring way more than you think. Depending on what youre going for....social card, a couple proofs of residency, birth certificate, DD214, marriage certificate, anything that proves who you are and where you live. For a normal renewal with no changes to anything, bring your old license, social card, and 1 proof of residency.

Just your current license, I believe. If you're getting a star card, you would also need your birth certificate, social security card and 2 pieces of mail.
