We visit the folks in need here a few times/month, and the staff is wonderful to us. Hearts of gold in what can be a very tough business to handle sometimes.

Some of the staff are prejudice and judgemental. You are screwed if they don't like. You!??

Some of the staff are wonderful. I had one bad experience with a small blonde who is all about telling you you need to be in medication. The lake you have to walk threw in winter makes a morning pointless pretty fast. I do appreciate that they try with what little they are allowed to do. I can't stress enough how MOST of the staff is wonderful. Do not let these people push medication on you when your in a vulnerable spot as it is. They do not help keep your belongings secured. I found a bolt cutter next to my locker in the morning. Thank you for trying so hard.

It's no longer a place to stay for families because they said they have a wait list. But the truth is that they no longer have a space of their own and are in a motel and don't want to take in families. And the staff will straight lie to you about it even though other staff have confirmed it as well as Boise police department. This used to be a very dependable and helpful place but is no longer the case

Depends on if your on the family side or single side. Its maybe a 10 to 15 min walk from grayhouns
You have to show up anytime after 6pm and its first come first serve if your single I'd advise being there by 5pm so you have better chances of not sleeping on the floor
Yes.
No limits as long as you behave properly.
If you are trying to get a bed try to be there at or before 4:30pm to get on the bed list. You enter through the secured entrance at the back in Cooper st. ally. First week of each month is easiest. If you don't get a bed they have some floor spots.
We could use the towels, just drop them off at Interfaith between the hours of 5 and 8 and ring the doorbell behind the shelter
Simple really. Just come in when you see everyone by the gates and some staff should help you with that. They have a small storage where they keep the donated items for the kids and women then ask if they need anything.
You need to be there now to get on the waiting list. They give empty beds out at 8:00pm. The closer to the top of the list you are the more likely you will get a bed. You will get a spot on the floor if nothing else.

Any clothing is accepted and appreciated..
Food and clothing items should be taken to the Corpus Christi House on 525 S. Americana Blvd. Someone at the desk inside the door will be happy to help you. Thank you for your donations 😁
There technically isn't a bed time but the lights go out at 9ish and they come on and 6:30 but you can go outside and smoke if you smoke
No you need to go to pathways.
No, they don't.
Both men and women are sheltered here on different sides of the building and the latest you can arrive is before 8 o clock but before you get a bed it us preffered you are here before six but after five
I know they can help with clothes but not sure about gifts maybe try give them a call??
Its based on if you've had any evictions on your previous homes/apartments. Any male/female/ family can stay there if they have no were else to go. Most males that have incomes and also works stays at the River Of Life mens shelter.
I think they are. Most come from BSU & has a degree in sociology/case management. My best guess is to show up and ask if they are
Get there by 4:15, at least 4:30 and you'll get a bed if your a guy. Times are much earlier for women, idk what they are. Get there between 5 and 9 to get a mat, no guarantee you'll get one if your there or if the women's maps are filled so women get there around 7 to be safe men 8 to 9. With mats you have to get there at that time each night, beds only the first night.
Iner faith sanctuary takes men women and familys
Warm coats are needed not just for the shingles but also for the families and children.
Check in around 6 PM and check out around 7 am Monday through Saturday and Sunday around 8 pm
They don't waste CPS time. They don't report simply because you stay there with your kids. They have accommodations for families. Like any other responsible organization, abuse and neglect are legitimate reasons for a report to be made to CPS.
Its better to take clothing to Corpus Christi House.
They do not take minors without parents.
They give help with housing. Your better off being in here and not your car cause that can get you a CPS call from anyone if you and your kids are sleeping in the car
How dare you judge people and try to determine there disability based on if they walk , stand or bend! Maybe she's mentally disabled. If so that gets in the way of working ALL the time! If she's an alcoholic why don't you help her and guide her to programs that will help her, sometimes all people need is some mercy for God's sake. May God have mercy on you're judgemental soul.
I don't know anything, I will Ask around.

Well you're good to go it's a service animal and it could be a companion
Yes All of the shelters here are with the exception of the wca
If all your option are gone to live elsewhere, and you need a safe place to sleep and help finding new housing, this is a good place to be. The case workers on the family side are great people who truely care about getting you back on your feet and into permanent housing. Yes you will have to deal with the single side but only at check in. And after that you go straight to the family side which houses families going through hard times. Probably no difference than what your going through. They also have a day program which is like preschool for your young kids from 8am until 5 pm mon thur fri. Kristie and megan are the case workers there and they are fantastc people. Dont get me wrong either if your not serious about changing whatever it was that brought you to homelessness you better plan on a long stay there or many to follow. Good luck and hope you do well
Wife and Kids absolutely I've been there and I've seen no animals
Cheryl schnacker is mistaken. This is a traditional overnight homeless shelter. They provide dinner and somewhere safe and warm to sleep at night. They offer showers and have laundry facilities. All are welcome. Family rooms are available. Men and women sleep in different rooms if not family. There are children at this center. Drinking and drugs are not allowed! If you show up drunk or high you may be allowed to sleep on the floor in a separate room but you may also spend the night in a cozy Jail cell. Like I said this is a family/all are welcome shelter. So there not going to put up with bad behavior. You can and will be banned for that stuff.
That's a day to day thing...the person need go to the shelter in person.
