I cut my hair short after four years of having long hair. I was looking for a stylist I could trust, seeing as my previous stylist moved, and was referred to Raul Zamarripa at The Electric Chair. Scheduling an appointment was easy and I was seated in the chair 10 minutes before the scheduled time. I am very pleased with Mr. Zamarripa’s work, he quickly understood what I was asking for and cut my hair in a way that allowed me to see the results in real-time instead of at the end of the service. Definitely recommend if you want a someone you can trust to make you look good.

I’m visiting Boise for work and desperately needed a haircut. I’m glad I went to Electric Chair Salon. Raul was awesome and gave me a great cut and taught me things about my hair I didn’t know. He was also fun to talk to as well. I would highly recommend going to see him if you need a haircut. Will definitely go back when I’m in Boise again.

I started with a color consultation with Raul and he was incredibly thorough. I was so excited to get back into his chair for the actual service. I have been in the process of allowing my gray to grow in and ultimately wanted to color my hair gray, but I hadn't been able to find a stylist who could get the color right where I wanted it. That is, until I met Raul!! He nailed my color and it was even better that what I had anticipated. He took so much care and time to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. Raul had also cut my hair during that appointment, but I was having trouble styling it the way I wanted. Before I could call for a follow up, I received a text from him asking if everything was satisfactory. Let me say, that in all of my years of getting my hair cut and colored, I have NEVER had a stylist spend so much time on the consultation, service and then to FOLLOW UP afterwards to ensure I was happy?!? When I mentioned that I needed a bit more of a cut, he got me in the very next day!! (Again, WHAT?!? REALLY?!?) He made some modifications to my haircut and I walked out feeling (and looking) like a million bucks!! I am so delighted with the whole experience. The staff was amazing and Raul, an absolute rock star (oh and if you are into 80's music, you are in for a treat, as Raul has amazing music knowledge and recall of the 80's pop culture...a kindred spirit!). I would highly recommend Raul and The Electric Chair!
