Got a basic undercut and wanted a short blunt bob with curtain bangs. My undercut wasn't symmetrical at all, my stylist didn't check to make sure it was even. On my left temple it's shaved further up than I wanted, my right temple was left unshaved and that was closer to what I wanted. It's about an inch and a half difference on my temples. I provided pictures of the kind of undercut and blunt bob I wanted. The stylist looked at both pictures maybe once during the whole appointment. Stylist didn't ask me any questions or provided a mirror to show me what she was about to do, before going ahead with it. When I came in my hair was just barely touching my shoulders and the blunt bob I wanted was cut to chin length. The stylist, after cutting my hair, said my hair wasn't long enough for the bob and needed to grow out. I was very confused by this, especially since the stylist never informed me my hair my not be long enough for the haircut I wanted after providing a picture. I wish the stylist would take more into consideration how important hair can be for someone, it took me a couple years to work up the courage to go to a salon. People have noticed how uneven the undercut is and it's embarrassing to tell them I paid $50 for it. I'm disappointed with my haircut and service. The environment in Pandamania was relaxing and had a good vibe. Very clean too. EDIT NEW REVIEW The business owner called me quickly after my original review to apologize and to offer a free correction appointment. They got me in the very next day and set me up with a very friendly staff member. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. They were able to correct my haircut and gave me exactly what I originally came in for. I'm very grateful and happy with how my hair turned out. A great business cares about customer well being and they did just that. I understand everyone is on a learning journey and mistakes happen! Thank you Toni and Brandi for creating a welcoming and kind experience. I'll definitely recommend Pandamania to friends and family.

Laken was amazing! Both my boys are in love with their hair. The colors turned out perfect! They are beyond happy and everyone at church says it is the coolest! My boys are happy and I will be back just for her services!

Edit: After leaving my original review, I was able to make an appointment. And I would have to say the experience was a positive one! It seems like much of the issue is to do with “technology problems,”: the salon does have some curly hair stylists, their website just doesn’t reflect as such. The website utilizes a non secure hosting provider, and they have to constantly fend off attacks. I’m not sure if their internet service also provides their website hosting, but if it does (Sparklight?) I hope they know that is not industry standard for over ten years, and a salon this friendly, professional, and welcoming deserves a better internet and website hosting experience. ————————— I messaged them asking if they either knew, or had, someone at the salon who could do curly, kinky hair with a mixed pattern, and they did not get back to me. So, I won’t be using my coupon offer, and the search for a good stylist continues. I’ll probably just ask the Aveda school for a recommendation. If they have one.
