What a complete joke! First off I had to go from desk to desk to find motor vehicles, as there is no number system or signage. Then an employee told me to go to a certain desk. Once there that woman rudely told me to WAIT. No please or thank you. The very young lady next to her politely said she could help me but didn't really understand what was needed. They had me running around in circles to obtain the required form only to come back and be told that wasn't enough! I work in customer service. They need an awful lot of training to be just average sorry to say. Next time I will go to the Franklin office even though it is busier because I know from past experience that they know their job and have exceptional customer service.

The Ada County Assessors office is the most friendly government office, I’ve ever dealt with! From the moment I walked in the door, everyone had a smile and was more than willing to answer questions 🎈

Interactions were over the phone, talked to 3 different people only one seemed willing to want to answer questions or explain what was needed.

I love this facility! The workers are always efficient and friendly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes this AM. Be warned that it is a very small office and may only have one clerk, so there can be waits...

Hi Grandpa! In order for this fee to be deductible as personal property, they need to be based on value. In Idaho, they are not. Hope that helps!

You can give us a call at (208) 287-7200 and we can help get you that information.
The Treasures Office will be mailing property tax notices no later than November 22nd
I was told to look at your assessment fot your home owers exemption. You do not have to reapply yearly.
Homeowners Exemption can be done electronically on the Assessors website. Recorders office is closed but you may be able to have a title company electronically record it for you.
Wouldnt be at this location. This is just registrations. There's a driver's license dmv office on benjamin near the towne square mall
No, you can not. Your best bet is to go to the DMV at 400 N Benjamin Ln #101, Boise, ID 83704
Idaho is a community property state, so I believe both spouses need to approve of the sale. You can setup a POA (Power of Attorney) for your significant other (or a friend) to sign for you as an attorney-in-fact. I do not know if there is any better way to approach this, but this seems the most simple way. (Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice).
Go to the Downtown post office.
You will need to make the request in writing. A change of address form can be found on the Ada County Assessors web page under documents and forms.
Located inside the court house at 200 W. Front St
