I am over 75 and my license expires soon. Do I have to have an appointment? How do I do that? It is only a month away.

The have walk ins now, but I believe that practice ends this month, or very soon. Going forward after that it will be appointments only. Link to appointments is here https://dmvscheduling.adacounty.id.gov/naoa/index.jsp

Yes you need an appointment. You need to go to their website, I usually just go to google and type in "idaho boise dmv" it'll bring up a search and show you a picture of the dmv and has options to call them or go to their website directly from the search results. From there you'll need to navigate the website by scrolling down, you'll see a drop down that says "drivers liscenses/IDs" tap that (if you're on a smart phone, otherwise click the mouse on a PC). A large drop down will appear scroll down until you see a blue link that says "schedule an appointment". Click that, then fill out the drop downs on this new page for location and what service you need. Below that a calander will appear with what dates are available click the date and submit. Then just make sure you're 10 minutes early to your appointment!
