Tried going here today and it was closed. Online says it’s open but no one answered the phone. Since other caves in the area are open yearround, I decided to go. Drove all the way out there (and it is a ways) to find out it was closed.

If they are federally funded why do you have to pay to see them?

It is open now and not federally funded but family owned. They close by 4pm but different hours in summer I believe.

Caverns are closed in the Winter

It has been raining the caverns are probably filled with water. But I believe it is federally funded. So they will be closed and if they do open you will only be able to see a portion of the caverns do to the water level inside the tunnel
