It's an outside castle and is not a shelter from the rain. In fact some of the wood can get slippery inside when wet.
It's outside and if it's raining it's wet. Kids tend to run up the slides so if it's wet out everything gets muddy inside the castle. I try to avoid for a few days after rain
It is outside.... and have not been there when it is raining. However, it is a structure that is enclosed mostly, so just like a screened-in porch, I'd imagine it stays pretty dry pending how hard it is raining. It is surrounded by woodchips, so it's a tough call about rain.
