Pay to park, but the museum is free so no big deal. We parked a giant f350 crew cab in the handicap parking and had no problems.
There is handicap parking on both sides of the highway with easy amd close access to the main doors. The Oakland side is paid parking with the handicap right against thw building. The other side, the Planetarium, has a smaller parking lot but is free. The handicap spots are closest to the door. Both sides usually have ample parking except for during events.
Yes, when I was there I saw handicap parking spots.
No free parking, unless you park at the Planetarium in Forest Park and use the pedestrian bridge that connects the two buildings.
