Yes it is and there is a lot that can be done free, however go well fed a small drink and popcorn is 9.00. And other activities are pay to go. Parking was $12 so there is quite a cost involved.

General Admission is always free. Parking is $12 which goes towards education in the community and at the Science Center. Free parking can be had at the Planetarium, which is a part of the Science Center.

Parking at the Science Center does have a cost, you can pay inside or at the booth when you leave. There is a lot to do and see in the science center that is free, but there are exhibits and activities that you need to pay admission for if you want to do them, as well.
