The beach is about 10 minutes away if you are going to barefoot landing and about 20-30 minutes away if you are going to the actual preservation. These times actually depend on where you are staying at Myrtle.
No, they are located in Barefoot Landing. The beach is on the other side of 17...
Barefoot Landing and the tiger exhibit is in NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, not Myrtle Beach. Hwy 17 runs parallel to Ocean Blvd and the actual beach all along the Strand. Barefoot is on the west side of 17, and the ocean is on the east side, with about 6 blocks between the two. So technically Barefoot is about 7 blocks from the actual ocean, in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. You could walk it if your hotel is nearby, but it would be best to use a golf cart. Barefoot is a huge outdoor shopping complex with many of the best restaurants and boutique stores that our beach offers. You can easily spend 3-4 hours there and see the tigers too.
I'm at the beach right now; I have the balcony door open and you can hear the waves easily.
Yes. It's in Myrtle Beach
