You definatly want to prepay. We were in line there and if you had reservations you went to the front. So we prepaid /made a reservation from our phone. And moved to front of line in minutes. The line gets long! This was for Barefoot Landing.
I would advise you to get a reservation. We prepaid for the basic package. I think that got us to the front of the line when T.I.G.E.R.S. opened. However you plan your visit, I believe this is a don't miss experience!
We tried to do Preservation Station without a reservation and didn't make it. We ended up making the reservation for the following day to get in.
Just to clarify, we strongly encourage reservations for a Preservation Station photo encounter, especially during the busy summer period. We open at 6pm each day during the summer (not 5pm). For the photo encounters, we take all guests with reservations first.
At preservation station at barefoot landing you do not need reservations but I am assuming you would need reservations for the safari which as at a different location.
Barefoot landing you can just show up. It is a real quick experience. I recommend the the tour. You need to get tickets in advance.
show up anytime after 5 p.m.
If you are just doing the pics at barefoot landing you just show up. If you want to do the reservation tour you need to make reservations.
