My apologies but I do not know of any camping areas, I'm sure there are some but it is For predominantly residential areas surrounding the lake.
How about looking up camping areas near you on Google or we all as we all know umstead has camping areas it's the only place I know you can camp around Raleigh well there are places like Jordan lake Carl lake other places like that around these lakes around Raleigh-Durham chapel Hill area with the closest one I know you're talking about is umstead Park but anyways yeah when you get back to lake Johnson again just go on Google and say camping areas near me and it will tell you where to go camping just not everybody not have a phone now where you can just Google it right there where they're at or just go to Google and say campsites near whatever why you asking us the public it's kind of strange
Nothing closer. But they have hanging stations if you bring you own canopy.
