It's only Ethiopian food, and it's so delicious. Be brave and try it, the shared plate or the buffet. Although i don't recommend it, there are other places next door and behind and across the street to eat and are less adventurous, but give Blue Nile a try, it's so good.

Only Ethiopian food. A good starting point might be the veggie sambusa (mixed veggies fried in a wonton like wrapper) or the misir watt (lentils cooked and thickened in a tomato based sauce with onions, garlic, dried peppers and ginger).

Just Ethiopian food. Compared to other ethnic cuisine I wouldn't call Ethiopian very adventurous.

Traditional Ethiopian only. Blue Nile is a must try! The food is very good, and is my go to place when I'm in KC. Never had bad experience. Proper etiquette is to wash your hands and eat with your hands using Inari which is like pita or a tortilla but better. Ask the staff, they friendly. Be adventurous it's fun!

Blue Nile is a should try. My husband is 'non adventurous' and he found dishes there he liked. We consider it a keeper. Try their lunch buffet.

I'd say go to the buffet...it is under $10 a person and there is always rice or rice pudding ;). It's nice to be able to try a little bit of everything.
