Can you collect social security and still work a full time job after a certain age? I was told once you reach 67 you can work a full-time job and still draw your full social security check. Is that true?

There is no penalty after 66 to work and collect SS. If a person is healthy enough to work at that age, go for it! Afterall, they have paid into SS all their life, and would still be paying into it by working. It is their money.

@kiki you can't make over a certain amount a week, I believe for 1 person it's like 600. For a 3 person household I know for a fact its 2300 a week max.

I have a right to ask a question without any assumption being made. How do you know I was even asking for myself. Assume what you want. Just know this there are hundreds of not thousands of seniors here who do not use computers. I'll just leave it at that. Have a great day
