I wouldn't say it's not too suitable for a 1 year old. There are a few things you could do like the safari and walk around Dinoland but the majority of the attractions are a bit more intense of rides.
I agree a 1 year old wouldn't enjoy it as much. Plus they wouldn't be able to sit on most rides.
You both will enjoy but 1 year.old may not have memories.
The safari bits are fun along with dinoland. Also pandora has a cool ride that has music and cool visuals.
For the animal exhibits sure. But pretty much everything else wouldnt be that great.
