Your Dr. at Yale will not issue a MMP card cause the doctors and hospital get kick backs from the pharmaceutical companies. There is no money to be made off a inexpensive plant. I ran into the same issue. My Dr. told me that they don't know enough about the effects of Cannabis. And he is a Yale Dr. There is a doctor on Central Ave. In New Haven that will see you and another in Monroe, Ct. 401 Monroe Turnpike. It's Saint Vincent's Urgent Care.
Massachusetts might be easier if you're moving to. In Connecticut you need note from 2 doctors. Try talking to Dr Judith Major in Monroe Ct. I have had my cannabis card since it started 9 yrs ago. You are still going to not get work because of the cannabis use. You have no rights for using it. I still have issue with employment. Good luck
Ditto⤴️honestly you should have no problem getting your medical card but your best bet is seeking out a doctor who mainly does that...i know there's a bunch of doctors who specialize in that or I should say who want to make money off doing a simple thing as issuing a license..and pretty much anyone can get one if you say the right things..just ask around and find a doctor in your area who specializes or has no problem issuing the MMC -medical marajuana card/ license...mass is ok since the quality there is much better along with pricing Since ct is somewhat new to the commercial medical grade and not up to the same standards as say out west in cali and colorado..but hopefully soon to come..but I would get your licence if your living in ct just to avoid drama an ..and you can always go to event in mass, Rhode island, D.C. etc..and having a medical card is sometimes a necessity unless in mass but definitely a plus then you don't have to worry coming back into CT if you have you CTMMC.
