Easy would be fishing from the boat launch docks but i dont think the dep allows that. The shires areent like a beach. There will be bushes to get thru & might be easier at low tide.
Yes..alot of area with picnic tables..and walk a few feet to water..very nice place to relax..get there early and find many spots and cookoutd.
