Its city parking and there's a lot of construction and one ways down there. You're better off taking mass transit. 4/5/6/A/C/E to 14th St and then walking to Gansevoort. Or walking over to 34th and 11th from 34th st stop on those same lines.
Try using Google for paid parking. Free street parking is going to be tough.
It will be a struggle to find parking. But you can find free Street parking if you have the time to look. But Steve has a solution that is solid as well
