If you can't figure out how an animal shelter could possibly have more cats than dogs then you probably dont need to adopt any.
We are under construction in our dog area so we are limited on space for bringing in more dogs. Construction will be complete in October. Also we take in stray cats, Franklin County Animal Control takes in stray dogs, therefore we always have more cats than dogs. Thank you for reaching out.
There are WAY more street cats than dogs, because people such as yourself prefer dogs more.
