There are tennis courts at 96th street. I am not sure if they play pickle ball on these courts.
Lot of softball and basketball and tennis but pickleball is out of my range in my central park .i grew up in the Bronx with some of the world's greatest handball players on earth. But no pickle ball players, to each his own

It's not an NYC thing yet....
The parks have regular tennis courts. Unfortunately, pickle ball is not well known in NYC and lack of courts makes hard to play.

I don't believe they have pickleball throughout Central Park to the best of my knowledge
It is an actual sport the only difference is is the ball. Human race here in the U.S. calls it wiffleball. You can rent the tennis court and play pickleball over there if you would like. Tennis court in central park and all over Manhatta, If I am not mistaken. Have a wonderful time.
