The general admission is not crowded. If you can go straight to the line, you could get it for the next available time slot if not the same slot. for every 35 mins or so, there's a ferry departing from liberty state park. You can always get the tickets online. Take the tickets, go thru security and board the ferry.
My visit was around 10am and there was no queue at all. Straight through security and onto the ferry.
Approx 20minutes.
I would say 30-35
Hi I was there this past weekend. I would say about 30 minutes
Go straight thru to the boat shed don't need to line up for a ticket. Take a mask too but not required on the vessel
Almost none at all. Maybe 5 min or so.
About 20 minutes
Today it was about 15 minutes
The lines actually move quick anywhere you go. I didn't have to wait long at all in any of the places I went to.
around 25 to 30 minutes
Not long. Went from New Jersey though
Around 40 minutes
We went from the NJ side, the ferry shed is at the parking lot no8, the ticket line was long but we purchased by qr code scan thro mobile, for whatever reason the mask is a must at security check and nowhere else ! There was no waiting for the onward journey but for the return we had to wait 30 min. Even after the ferry arrives it takes long as people deboard and then only the line moves for boarding
Going out about 15 minutes, back around 30. We went out at 2pm, when we arrived the line back was huge.
Bruh
It took almost 45 minutes total for us. Standing in line with pre bought tickets, getting thru the first security check then standing in line to board the ferry. But i was told this was anon busy day, some days it can take a hour just to get thru security check. Boats run every half hour, but while your waiting you are shoulder to shoulder with people.
10 mi uses at 11.00am
I didn't want to deal with the crowds of NY. I stayed in NJ and went to Liberty Park to board the ferry for the statue of liberty. When I left the statue, the lines were long to get back on the ferry to NY but NJ was short
That all depends on the line itself because you never know how many people will be there and the questions they may ask. So just a suggestion whatever time you go research the times online get there at least an hour early so that way you can buy your ticket and make the walk to the boat with ease. Enjoy
Lines look long, but we got through pretty quickly. We went this past weekend and had reserved 2:30pm. We maybe waited in line 30 minutes or less.
If you book early 9-10am tickets on the website, you spend no time on line at all. From Liberty Park- NJ, where we took the ferry to the Islands, we spent little or no time at all on line. Secret is; book & arrive early at your departure point.
