You can, be prepared for a intake interview when you pick your dog, for example is someone home, are there young children , they will ask you for references. Interview can take time. And if they are not crowded you can go home with your new friend. I have had no problems with any dogs that I adopted since 1995, from northshore. The interview process is what I really don't like. But they need to do it so the dog or cats have a safe home. I currently adopted a 6 year old Pit bull lab mix. She is great
Yes. You need 2 references. If you find a dog or cat they will not hold it overnight for you. . All animals are vet checked before they are available.
Yes. If approved, the adopter takes home his or her new family member that day.
