I would say same as people without teeth the gums get harder which allows them to chew firmer food. I would think you might want to break down thicker pieces if you see the dog struggling to eat. That would be interesting to see though lol. I'd be scared they would take it out and try to chew the tooth.

Don't think so. They can eat just fine without teeth.
