Post on social media that your looking for a rescue place, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY TO ACCT! Look for someone to foster. I dont think spca would euthanize your pup! Good Luck!
Honestly, Phila is over crowded and 2 weekends ago, ACCT waived all adoption fees because they were at capacity. Philly is NOT A NO KILL CITY, PAWS IS TRYING TO CHANGE THIS, but due to all the strays and surrenders I will be frank, your baby will be euthanized. They just have no room. You can call paws and ask what your options are and see if there is a good chance she will or will not be put down. They will be honest, they don't want what you are trying to avoid BELIEVE ME! All rescues pull from ACCT the city's main intake. And it's so hard. The previous post has the truth, post and try to re-home her yourself, do not take her to the shelter, ACCT especially, they can't afford or handle the amount of homeless animals. SPCA won't put your baby down they just won't take her. You may want to even look at going outside the city, like NJ or suburbs, humane societies. Call the women's humane society in Bensalem, see if they can help. BUT NEVER DO CRAIGSLIST that is bait dog listing. 💓💔💓
I would contact PAWS to see if they would take the dog or have any other options. I would also post an ad on Craigslist or Facebook, good luck!
