What's the metro station for the Cathedral?

I took the metro and then took the bus. There wasn't a metro stop right next to the cathedral. There are 2 bus lines that will drop you off right at it

Buy a day pass for the metro and take a bus the rest of the way. It's about 20 stops from the metro station, if I remember correctly.

Cleveland Park on the Red Line is the nearest Metro Station to the Washington National Cathedral, but it is about eight-tenths of a mile away.
