The awning covers about half of the seating area, the upper level is uncovered. Check your ticket for where you'll be seated. The website indicates that events proceed rain or shine, no umbrellas allowed, so bring a poncho & have fun!
The Pit and the 100, 200 sections are covered. 300 is not. If your under cover, Depending on how hard the rain is and how strong the winds, you will stay pretty dry except for the high rows in the 200 section
Like @SaraBarket, we went to see Weird Al on a rainy night, sitting probably a little closer than 1/2 way from the front, and we were high and dry! A good bit of the seats behind us appeared to be well covered as well. It's kind of a big tarp kind of thing, and when I saw that that was it, I was concerned that it wouldn't be effective, or that it would amplify the sound of the rain. Both fears were unfounded, as we remained dry, and couldn't hear the rain at all. It's a very nice venue!
The sections around the stage are covered. The upper seating areas are not covered. They do not allow umbrellas, see prepare with ponchos.
Section 300 and down are covered!
Yes it is! But only the stadium area (stage and seats). The patio area with the bars are not completely covered. Went to a weird al concert there recently and it was pouring. No matter to us! :)
