I went to their website at 6 but wasn't able to book, the ticket booking opened at about 6.10 instead. It will cost you 1USD for each ticket. 2. Be at the museum by 9.45 am. Here you'll get the tickets for free. There are other things to see besides the permanent exhibition, and for them you don't need a ticket. They are good too. Certain people- veterans, etc. Don't require a ticket. Permanent exhibition has 3 floors, so make sure you give each floor enough time. I spent most of my time on the first level itself, so had to rush through other floors as museum's closing time approached.
