Yes, everyone waits in line. Also know there are 2 entrances into the museum: on for groups and the other general admission. You'll have a 1 hour window to scan your ticket (after inside) so make sure you arrive early in case the outside line is long.

Yes, everyone has to go through security outside. Once inside, you can line up for the main exhibit with the others who have tickets.

Everyone has to go through security prior to entering. Once inside, you can go directly to the elevator for the main exhibit at your scheduled time.
