I’ve been told the program is generally 3 months inpatient followed by 3 months aftercare, is this accurate? I understand that if someone starts messing up it could be longer but is this time frame generally accurate?

If you are court ordered you are required to complete an aftercare program, usually at ACTS in Tampa. If you are from a different county besides Hillsborough, ACTS will find you a closer Aftercare program. All treatment centers recommend aftercare. It is an important part of recovery. ACTS aftercare is free. Almost all treatment facilities provide free aftercare. You will be required to submit to random drug screens which can help you with your recovery. If you have a craving to use knowing that you have drug screens may help you make it through that craving. Although cravings do not usually last long they can fell like enternity.

Thank you. So for someone under DPTI who is court ordered you’re looking at 3 in 3 out?

Its usually 3 months in 3 months out but for someone under a marchman ACT is usually only 60 days in followed by 90 days aftercare but i could be wrong.
