You can go to social service now don't wait until you get evicted to go that way you'll have your appointment a week ahead and you'll be covered so when you go there you need a place where you'll be staying that will take the check from Social Service proof of income your IDs and that's basically it but if you guys are going to get evicted even buy your mother-in-law and you've been staying there well over 30 days you can fight eviction
