If the system is inadequate at all for your needs, you may consider _donating_ it and writing off yours or relatives' taxes. It might be even profitable, if the system's old %^) Anyway, before you are selling/giving away/donating it, clean carefully any personal data you may have there, safely erase your disk/s and reinstall,the OS. A Craigslist, local computer repair shops, or a pawn shop might be a much more viable option to sell equipment.
