No its property based section 8 and tax credit. The subsidies are attached to the units not the occupants. You used to be able to look up on HUD and MHDC websites for properties and landlords who are accepting vouchers, but I haven't tried in a few year ( And seeing as the secretary of HUD is Ben Carson....I'd assume the services available have probably been hacked down to nothing.....)
