The shuttle to/fro airport & to port Everglades (2 are scheduled to run over in the morning only) are free, but any other runs are expensive and you will find relief using Uber Pool (automatically splits fares with other area uber riders) offers rides around at a fraction of their prices. You can find many available ways to transport from FLL to Port Miami for much less if you review what's available on PortMiami's website and your cruise cruiseline's site, also, we found info for example on Royal Caribbean's site offering many options. I assure you (we travel in from Ohio) that Uber presence is thick & plentiful in the area and you can literally get off your plane and ship and find drivers readily available instantly and cheap! Plus you'll pay 1 fare rather than per person.
They subcontract with transportation company that will shuttle you to the port. Our group had a price of $30 per person.
