Edited · just now 0We've been coming here for 35 years since my folks bought here. They've now passed and my wife and i are snowbirds. There are lots of volunteer led activities and hobby clubs, an internet cafe, library, club house, options for community meals at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Frequent community Sundae or pizza gatherings at the pavilion. Association gees of one dollar per resident per year! Still lots of volunteers and community feeling. We've bantered back and forth about a pool for as long as I've been coming here.

Yes senior park, brother lived there 12 years. I have live here 7 years, its changed alot with new management running it. But its still the best place around. Most people that live here are very nice. There aralot of snow Birds so all most have thepark is emty in the summer. Hope this helps. When I moved there , you could buy a place, from $2,000 to $20,000 now its from $12,000 to $75,000. Just remember, your still ia molbil home park you dont own the land just the mobile home . Have a nice day. n

It is a 55+ park for sure. We owned a place there and I loved it. Sadly we needed to sell and move back north for family stuff, hoping to get back there soon. Reading other postings about TH, some people (in residence?), will dog on the management. This is quite unfair in my opinion. Kate seems pleasant and helpful and in my opinion runs the place very evenhandedly. Overall I'm convinced park maintenance is as well run as funding allows. TH is absolutely a gem for retirees on a budget! One thing that puzzled me is the frequency of big trash trucks on the fairly fragile asphalt streets. The roads show signs of traffic rutting, which I'm guessing is in no small part due to the heavy 3 axle trash trucks. It's too bad there cannot be a trash removal solution that does not involve heavy truck traffic.
