It is better to get a pass as a driver, you never know, also its valid for more than one day, not sure if it's because of our age, but ours are good for one year. They are super nice and helpful!

NC ID Proof of insurance and the pass is good for 90 days up to 1yr it depends on the nature of visit

My nephew is stationed at Bragg. The pass is good for 1 year. All you need is a drivers license or a state id. With a state id they also do a full background check.

He will need a state ID or driver's license. I presume a u.s. passport will also work. He will need to enter in his social security number into their background check system and give up his fingerprints to be scanned electronically. He will then provide his phone number. If he is in a vehicle he will need to provide proof of insurance and his registration. If he passed the background check then he can get a pass with no problem.

I used my driver's license and they took my SSN and finger prints. It took about 5-10 minutes and I got the pass the same day.

Chuck is right just do like he said and you will be just fine

Take him to the visitors center, he'll need his valid government ID and SSN. They also ask vehicle registration. The alternative is If you will be accompanying him so long as you are driving the vehicle you can take him directly through the gate. No pass is required at that point.
