Ms. Aledrea and the rest of the corvias team were highly professional, articulate and exceedingly hospitable. I am very thankful to have worked with them.

After applying for housing in late May/beginning of June we were originally told we would have a house by the end of july. Then we called in mid july and were told we would have a house by mid august. My husband called the first week of august and was told we would have a house by the end of august. That same week I went into the leasing office to get more information about the kind of house we were getting. I was told they have no idea when we are getting a house and "they are waiting on inventory". I called again today (the following monday) to get some clarification. The leasing agent I spoke to had a condescending attitude. After I explained to her our housing situation and what my husband and I have been dealing with (issues with temporary housing and pricey storage) her response was "Unfortunately, a lot of families are dealing with this from privates to officers (Iol who cares about rank. I never said anything about rank, I was just asking about housing. Why would she bring that up???)". Then I asked what number we are on the waiting list and she said they do not have a numbered waiting list. It is based on when you applied and the date you requested to have a house by. She also told me they had a directive come down last week that said there is at least a two month hold on housing (weird because my family contacted the leasing office twice last week and was not told that). She offered an apology for the situation but that does little to help me or remedy her attitude during the call. My husband and I could have found an apartment when we first arrived here over two months ago if the housing office had given us accurate information. Now we have to leave our airbnb soon and housing off post is limited. I understand the workers have nothing to do with housing availability but transparency and accuracy would go a long way in helping families.

First Because Labor Day is a holiday and if they don't have a lifeguard period and you drown or chok on something how will save you. What if no one knows what to do, even good swimmers drown.
