Ringworm can be treated topically and is actually completely different from heartworm. Ringworm is simply a fungal infection of the skin and can clear up with the proper ointment. There are foundations that can help cover vet bills, one of which i would recommend called the Sergi Foundation.

You can always surrender it to the Forsyth Humane Society. They will treat it and place it in a foster home until healthy enough for adoption.
