No. Not at present. Interaction with staff is contactless. You can order and pay by telephone or online. They send you an email with the tickets and scan them at the gate. I suspect the ppl who are claiming otherwise are merely giving their opinions. They don't want actual cash in an unsecured area or personal interaction in violation of covid 19 protocols.

You'll need to make a reservation to reserve your block of time at the zoo. This is something that was new to me so it caught me off guard. Not sure if you can make a reservation without paying though. You'll have to check their website.
