Yes .or you have to be there early in the morning to get a number. But be there as early as 7 a.m
There are certain things that can only be done through appointments. Please check NJ DMV website and see if appointments are available for what you want to get done. If you dont see a appointment option for your intended action then you just have to go early to a DMV when its open. I recommend get there by 6:30 AM to 7 AM to be safe.
