NO. You do not need to go to the DMV facility if you were able to renew online. The new registration should come to you in the mail within 30 days. When you renewed online it should've given you a confirmation to print out to carry temporarily until the actual registration arrives.
Check what location does certain things and the go online to see if you need to make an appointment. Freehold is a license center only. Registration should be by mail?
The Freehold location is for licences and permits only, so you would not be able to do anything.
